At the beginning of February 2023, we accepted an invitation from Klaus Stöttner, MdL (CSU), to the Bavarian Parliament. OELCHECK Managing Director Paul Weismann and Advisory Board member and company founder Peter Weismann held constructive talks with Mr. Michael Tyrkas, Ministerial Councilor and Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Michael Kremer, Ministerial Councilor and government architect, both working at the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Consumer Protection, and Mr. Stöttner.
The aim of our discussions was to explore the possibilities of using lubricants and operating fluids in a more resource-efficient way. Lubricant changes should not be carried out on a blanket basis, but based on the condition. Our vision is to advance a bill to avoid unnecessary waste of resources.
Cooperation with politicians has opened up access to various stages on which we can and want to advance the topic of "Proactive Maintenance". Contacts have already been established with the Bavarian Environmental Pact and the Cluster of Environmental Technologies Bavaria/Umweltcluster Bayern. With the Cluster of Environmental Technologies Bavaria, there was already the first conference date.
Even if the mills grind slowly - OELCHECK would like to use this to push the topic of saving resources and CO2. Awareness must be anchored even more in the minds of all people.
