During the visit of Barbara Zumbrägel, Product Manager Voltammetry, Competence Center Voltammetry & CVS and Frank Mögenburg, Application Specialist Electrochemistry, the measuring device was installed. In addition, we received an introduction as well as training on the measurement methods so that we are able to perform measurements with this device independently.
Of interest to insiders are the devices that work together here in a network – but are to be used by us for the measurement of parameters other than the usual ones. In order to optimize theaccuracy as well as the operator effort, Metrohm has developed its own measurement setup for the determination of antioxidants in oils, based on already existing modules from Metrohm. By using an autosampler, automatic pumps and dosing units as well as a Voltammetric Analyzer, the measurement can be fully automated.
As part of the friendly as well as scientific exchange with Metrohm, the aim is to gain more experience with a larger number of oil samples.
